The Yucatan Art and Design Center (CADY) stems from the creative vision of the talented designer and businesswoman Tiky De Velasco, who has added renowned Architect Henry Ponce to this project, who has specialized in the conservation and rescue of the heritage of the city of Mérida.
Together they collaborate to shape a development with a major impact on urban revitalization. This project aims to promote various activities related to art, design and all kinds of sociocultural experiences.
HENRY PONCE
Henry Ponce has more than 30 years of professional experience, especially in the rescue of the architectural heritage of the city of Mérida. Defending not only the historic center but other consolidated areas especially belonging to the architecture of the functionalist movement. Its philosophy is characterized by the functionality of its spaces as well as by the spatial interconnection between interior and exterior, applying different disciplines where architecture, interior design and landscaping are combined in an integral way.

Since the beginning of her academic life and throughout her career, she has been immersed in the world of design, which has given her an innate gift for conceiving and embellishing diverse environments, providing them with sensitivity and harmony. In his projects, he has demonstrated a genuine passion for creating spaces that not only stand out for their aesthetics, but also for their functionality. For Tiky, the happiness of those who live in a perfectly decorated space is the fruit of their work.
Her training as a graphic designer, her endeavors in the conceptualization and organization of events and her experience in interior design have driven her success, standing out in projects such as Furniture in Transit, a firm that was founded on the principle of 'second-hand furniture', and her most recent project, CADY (Yucatan Art and Design Center), a space that promotes in its concept, community and a constant search for evolution through art.
Tiky, passionate about creating environments and the constant search for balance to give life to exceptional experiences, joins renowned architect Henry Ponce to bring the CADY project to life.
